What do our customers say?

THE SECOND PAIR OF HANDS THAT ALWAYS TURNS UP

Pump the trigger and the load climbs, click by click, up to your mark. Then it locks — and both your hands go back to the drill.

Locks under its own load: the weight of what you’re lifting drives the pawl deeper into the teeth. It cannot let go on you.

Hands completely free: level it, shim it, drive the fixings. Nothing left to hold.

No favours owed: no waiting on a mate who said they’d come Saturday and didn’t.

YOUR BACK WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A CLAMP

Holding 40 kg at chest height while you fish about for a screw is how a Saturday ends in ibuprofen. Let the lever take it instead.

  • Secateur-light grip: one hand pumps it. Owners with arthritis use these daily.
  • No more ladder gymnastics: the lifters carry the unit from the worktop below while you level it and fix it.
  • Two ends, two lifters: a worktop has two ends — the twin pack covers both, so nothing tips.

BUILT WHERE THE £20 ONES BREAK

We bought the cheap ones first. They bent, they rusted, and one of them dropped a panel. Here is exactly what we changed.

  • All steel, no hidden plastic: 3 mm steel base and a 5 mm heat-treated graduated rail. Handles that look like metal because they are.
  • GravityLock™ ratchet: the heavier the load, the tighter the lock. It cannot free-fall.
  • Two-speed controlled descent: come down a single millimetre to hit your line. No dropping, no chipped worktops.

One tool. Three jobs.

Lift it, prop it, or flip it into a clamp

The same pair covers most of what normally needs a second person.

LiftMate Pro in lift, support and clamp mode
1

Lift — raise panels, tiles and worktops

Slide the plate under, squeeze, and the load rises click by click to your line — then it locks there. Both hands free to screw, tile or shim.

wall panels · floor & wall tiles · worktops · skirting

2

Support — hang wall units on your own

Fit the support frame and you have a pair of props that never get tired: they carry the unit from the worktop below while you level it and drive the fixings.

kitchen wall units · wardrobes · shelving · radiators

3

Clamp — clamp, spread and hold

Flip the F-clip on and it becomes a clamp with a whole lever behind it — glue-ups, spreading a stubborn frame, holding timber steady while you cut.

glue-ups · frames & studs · door linings · spreading

EVERYTHING YOU NEED — FROM THE MOMENT THE BOX LANDS

Nothing extra to order, no adaptors to hunt down. Open it and you can start the job the same afternoon — plus two free extras.

  • The full kit: 2 × lifting jacks, 2 × support frames, 2 × F-clip sets, 2 × foot-pad sets.
  • Free no-pinch grip gloves: proper protection from the very first lift — worth £14.90.
  • Free ebook, “No More Back Pain” by Barry Harford: smart lifting hacks, downloadable the moment you order.
Cost comparison: tradesman day rate versus LiftMate Pro Twin Pack

The maths of the second man

A second pair of hands costs £200 a day. This pair costs £49.90, once.

A tradesman for the day runs £200–250. One door hung by a pro, £60–200. Even hiring a panel lift for a week is £42–85 plus a £200 deposit you have to get back.

The twin pack pays for itself on the first job — and it is still in your garage for the next one.

Same job. Same one person.

One hand on the cabinet, one knee on the worktop, drill in your teeth — or two lifters holding it dead level while you drive the fixings. Drag the slider.

Questions, answered straight

Will it bend like the £20 ones?

Bent forks are the number one complaint on cheap lifters. This one is all-steel: a 3 mm base and a 5 mm heat-treated rail. And if yours doesn’t do what we show it doing, the 90-day money-back sends it straight back to us.

Does it drop the load when I release it?

No. Descent is click by click on a two-speed release, so you can come down a single millimetre if that’s what the line needs. The load’s own weight drives the lock tighter — it can’t free-fall.

Do I need strong hands?

About as much grip as a pair of garden secateurs. The lever does the work, not you. Owners with arthritis use them daily.

Why a pair rather than one?

Because worktops have two ends. One lifter is fine for a washing machine or a radiator, but anything long or unbalanced needs one at each end so it can’t tip.

What if there's no gap underneath?

You need a few millimetres to slide the plate in. No gap at all? Flip the F-clip on and use it in clamp mode instead.

What can I actually use it for?

Kitchen wall units, wardrobes, doors, skirting, floor and wall tiles, worktops, radiators, shelving, decking frames, washing machines — and clamp mode for glue-ups, door linings and holding timber steady while you cut.

What is it not for?

Never for lifting people or vehicles. For long or unbalanced loads, always use both lifters, one at each end.

When will it arrive, and what if I change my mind?

Free UK delivery. Dispatched in 1–3 working days, then typically 7–14 working days to your door. Use it on one real job — if it wasn’t easier, faster and kinder on your back, return it within 90 days for a full refund.
